Grzech Piotrowski

saxophonist and composer

grzech-piotrowski-2-727x860We have known each other for years since when Grzech played a concert at the opening of Galery69. From that moment we have supported each other spiritually as well as inspired and kindled our joint projects. Some were realized and others were left for the time being in the area of dreams. Grzech is a wonderful dreamer. He catches the wind immediately in his sails and surfs after the impossible. Most of them, ideas born from spontaneous impulses, Grzech carries out to the end. We talk about many of them as if they will be concluded in a matter of minutes. Nothing is excluded. Several minutes with Grzech over cake and coffee, two great big doses of energy, result in new ideas. He’s always on the move. It’s even difficult to inquire from where to here. There is always an idea for an event or music but with a good humor. That mood is what distinguishes him. We enthusiastically tell each other stories – real, alledged, confabulated, and laugh until we cry. However when he starts to play, we are moved to tears. A gushing fountain of inspiration.
